Many times, I read comments of people feeling very confused and overwhelmed due to the vast amount of information you can find about manifesting. There are so many authors, books, techniques and videos out there. There are so many perspectives of the Law, and many wonderful people who want to help you and teach you how to manifest your desires from their own point of view and experience.
I understand that some of you want to watch every single video, read every single book and have all the possible information available, because when I found out about the Law, I wanted to do all of that as well. Maybe you think, “the more I know, the more my chances increase”, right?
Maybe you find a specific technique and you think the explanation is perfect. You see many people getting results using it and, finally, you feel like you found the specific formula and so now you get it. You apply what you just learned, maybe you persist for a few days, but you don’t see results and feel demotivated. The conclusion is that maybe it just doesn’t work or you missed something, so you need to watch the next video, read more information or find a new success story to encourage yourself.
I am not trying to say this is a bad thing. I am not trying to make you feel ashamed either. There is nothing wrong with learning more and more every day. Reading success stories is wonderful, and make us all feel very happy for others and for knowing this beautiful Truth that changed our lives. However, the desire to learn more each day from a state of knowing everything is working in our favor, and enjoying this knowledge, is very different from over consuming information from a state of lack and, “I need to learn more so I can get what I want”.
“You must be doers of the law of assumption, for without application, the most profound understanding will not produce any desired result”.Neville Goddard – The Power of awareness
I would like to encourage you to test the Law with the knowledge you already have. Make your own rules, do it your own way. Our own experience is always going to be the best teacher. Knowing ourselves and applying the teachings our way is the best technique. Our own success stories are the best encouragement; because they are our story.
And it does not need to be a conscious manifestation to test the Law, it is also realizing how others reflect your state of being, seeing people as the same self that you are, perceiving every situation from this new perspective and in your favor, not reacting to circumstances, etc.
If you have felt overwhelmed and confused by coaches that “contradict each other” just stick with the one you resonate with. They don’t contradict each other because one is right and the other is not, they are all right. They teach from their own experience and it works for them and for the people who resonate with them. Do not force yourself to do a specific technique just because it has thousands of success stories. It won’t work for you if you don’t believe it will.
When we practice the Law and start seeing results, even if we only see these results in one area of our lives, we start to understand how it works for us, how it feels comfortable and how we get the quickest results. Then, we apply it to other areas, we already have evidence of it. We see that, even when we have a particular manner to apply the Law that is easier for us, it can work in different ways, so we are not restricted. We discover that our rules prevail, and our perspective of the Law starts to expand. We have more lovely beliefs. We are masters, we have always been.
When we practice the Law, we realize that contradicting thoughts and feelings are not against us and cannot prevent us from embodying who we want to be, from feeling the way we want to feel, or living the wonderful experiences we want to live. We do not force ourselves to have perfect feelings and linear thoughts, it’s not a requirement; we are gentler with ourselves. We finally identify ourselves with our True Self, and not these feelings and thoughts that are arising for us to let go.
Now, we read books and we watch videos differently. Some of them resonate with us, some of them don’t. But they don’t confuse us, because our faith is strong enough now, we have a solid foundation. Sometimes we want to test these new points of view, but to experiment and learn and play, not because we feel we lack the knowledge to get something.
I want to encourage you all to take the decision to be doers of the word and not hearers only. Practice what you already know and resonate with every single day, and persist in being who you have decided you are now and in what works for you; it’s the only way.
Something marvelous and funny happens when you are a doer of the word- sometimes you have these clicks in your head from when you were just a hearer, and you say “oh, now I understand what Neville meant when he said x, y and z”, because you experience it by yourself, you have proof.
Be a hearer because you love knowledge, and learn more every day because it sets us free. Learn from others, but also learn from yourself. Hear yourself, because you already know how to be you, it’s your true self.
But, above all, be a doer, be your own dream coach, be your own success story. Trust yourself, embody all of the wonderful things you want to incarnate, and be a doer of the word, not a hearer only.
