How I Practice Revision

It’s been a year that I was introduced to Neville’s teachings and since then I have read all of his books twice or thrice. Each time I read them, they always give me a new perspective and a better understanding. Jennifer’s articles are a go-to to simplify his teachings and has made manifesting much more flexible as she never places the limelight on rules and tools that most LOA practitioners insist on following. Ah! Isn’t it wonderful?

But there is a tool you might be familiar with- revision. Neville discussed revision in chapter 4 of his book “Awakened Imagination“. The very last sentence caught my attention when I read it for the second time- “It is to the pruning shears of revision that we owe our prime fruit.” Neville suggested that we practice revision daily.

For those of you who don’t know what revision is, here is a quote from Neville that describes it in a nutshell.

“For instance, suppose today’s mail brought dissapointing news. Revise the letter. Mentally make it conform to the news you wish you had received. Then in imagination , read the revised letter over and over again. This is the essence of revision and revision results in repeal.”

I used to be obsessed with tools to get into the feeling of the wish fulfilled, which was causing me to stress myself out. I changed my perspective on tools to be merely my means to get to the end, and decided to stick to one and make it a lifestyle. It is to be still and know that I am the God of my reality.

I decided to stop forcing myself to live in the end or to affirm anything. During the daytime, I became still and went on with my day. Before sleeping at night, I’d invest an hour for revising each and every event of that day; be it good, bad or indifferent. I’d make it conform to how my ideal day would be if my desires are fulfilled. It includes a job, my specific person, a luxurious house of my own, etc. I’d live each day differently as I would in the 3D world, not just a single scene. I started to see significant changes in all aspects of my life. The way people behave towards me has changed. Everything in my life has literally changed. Though it’s early to boast off since a job and a home is yet to arrive in the 3D world, I know for a fact that it’s done. Revision is a lifestyle that I follow.

There’s no eventually getting good at it, because we are already the best in anything and everything.

I know that this website emphasizes on simply being aware of who you really are (which helped me a lot). Keep that in mind and I also recommend that you try revision as Neville has suggested.

Be still and know that I AM God

This post was just confirmation. I was driving today and a voice said, “Be still and know that I am God.” As Neville says, “It seemed as though it was coming without but it was coming from within.” With one hand on the wheel and the other on my chest, I began to say the words -be still. Then the words, “I am.” A tremendous calmness came over me that completely changed my mood. I Am and I always have been -I am.
