July 28, 2020 at 2:36 PMThank you for the podcast! After listening to this I looked up “The Untethered Soul” and the splinter. The analogy is pretty helpful.

August 10, 2020 at 8:05 AMThank you, this was a really great and valuable podcast! I think this is a very important topic, and unfortunately it’s not emphasized enough in the manifesting community… The tendency is that when negative thoughts, fears, limiting beliefs resurface, people try to suppress them or ignore them out of fear and pretending they’re not there… But it’s part of the process and it helps you manifest!! In my opinion, disidentifying from these old fears and old negative self-concepts is much more important than visualizing and saying affirmations (although, these also have their place and role in manifesting) – when disidentifying from all this ‘yucky’ stuff, letting everything you’re not fall off of you, you let your True Self to shine through!!

August 20, 2020 at 5:04 PMHi! I was wondering, what should I do when affirming is giving me anxiety? Like instead of feeling amazing when I try to live in the end and try to be in the state that I would be when my dream get fulfilled, instead of that my mind hits me hard with “why are you lying to yourself?” Or “This isn’t true” and that obviously is making me feel sad. Is this my limiting belief?

August 28, 2020 at 2:13 PMHello, Alex: Allow me to chime in, the message in this podcast, is to change the old concept of the less desirable feelings, whatever come up is just for us to sit thru them, feel where (in the body) they come from and let them pass.
Know that there are two sides to a coin and same to our beings, our ego self and our spiritual self. You were being human, feeling the usual human’s fear, doubts, insecurity, but there is always a place within everyone of us that knows nothing else but love/peace. Find a way to connect to the spiritual self first before affirmations and see if it makes any difference.
You have a choice to explore either side more by observing the thoughts which come up, or analyzing what may be wrong with you. Ease the “mind attack”, as simple as: “Oh, I am aware of that thought “why are you lying to yourself?” that just came up. Just beware of that thought without further judgment. And note that it did not say “Why am I lying to myself?”
If somehow there is an old belief within that your affirmation is a pie in the sky than fine tune/reword it to where you feel more comfortable repeating. Recognize that “limiting” belief is just an old belief/concept that is NO LONGER for you, you fully and freely release it now from your being. Seal it with “I am in absolute harmony with this new assumption within and without”. HTH.
