Setting Goals In Being

“Only as one is willing to give up his present limitations and identity can he become that which he desires to be.”

Neville Goddard

Why Set Goals?

Remembering who we truly are can feel like a hard process that seems like no fun. Sometimes we feel stuck or have no clue about what we should be doing. This causes frustration and keeps us floating around. We are always moving, even when we feel “stuck”, but we can begin to make the process feel more fun and active.

Let’s start enjoying the process of remembering who we really are instead of doing it to manifest our desires. Let’s start enjoying the process of simply being by setting goals in being.

What if I told you that the secret to manifesting your specific person or your desire is actually just being? What if I told you that your desire is actually to feel loved instead of having the specific person? What if I told you that your desire for money is actually to feel free, the feeling of freedom, instead of having the money? Now, I am not saying that desiring your specific person or money is a bad thing, we just have to find the core of it.

Practicing and Setting Goals

If we think about setting goals we always think about things like “Manifest a Specific Person”, “Manifest Money”, “Manifest a Car”. These are normal goals to manifest, but can definitely feel very overwhelming and can make us feel stuck. However, now we are going get unstuck by setting goals in being! This process can be a lot of fun.

Goals like

  • Everyday I will sit for five minutes with myself and bring awareness to what is going on within
  • This week I will focus every day on feeling like I already have that which I desire
  • This week I will focus on being and feeling loved
  • Today I will search quotes that motivate me
  • Today I will write down my beliefs and see if they resonate with me and write down the desired ones
  • Today I will write down what creations I am so extremely proud of
  • Today I will write down what makes me happy and I will find one more thing that makes me happy
  • Today I will start reading a book that inspires me
  • Today I will start doing one new thing
  • Today I will read success stories

These are just examples and I recommend that you make your own list of goals that resonate with you. I want you to dedicate yourself to doing at least one of those every single day. In one day you can feel better about yourself. In a month you will feel better in many ways- now imagine in a year.

We can all read the theory, but are we actually applying it in our daily lives? Are we actually putting in the effort? I am sure that at this exact moment you can make a very tiny step in order to feel better. Whether it’s a thought that makes you feel better or bringing a bit more awareness to what is going on within yourself right now.

Write down goals in your agenda to do every single day. Find something that resonates with you and stick to it. Don’t just stick to it for a day or a week, stick to it for at least a year and then look back at the progress that you’ve made. Ask yourself what kind of goal you can set right now in order to feel better.

Now, don’t be mad or disappointed with yourself if you skip a day. It might be helpful to begin doing this practice twice (or more) a week in order to get used to it. It’s about starting somewhere and committing to this decision so you can change for yourself. It’s giving love and passion to yourself.

You are worth it. You are the operant power, the one that can change your life right now. It’s not your specific person or a car, or whatever you desire, that will change your life. It is you and today you will make this decision. I believe in you.

Setting Goals Doesn’t Have To Be Stressful

Setting goals doesn’t have to always be stressful and I want you to remember to have fun. If you are setting goals that don’t excite you, then change it up. Set goals that excite and make you feel happy. We are more likely to stick to our goals when it really motivates us. If you know what motivates you, nothing will stop you.

That’s the spirit I want to see.

You can copy someone else’s way of doing things, which is perfectly fine, but it is best to adapt it specifically to your needs. In this way you will have way more fun and pleasure in doing so. Think about it right now, of how many changes there will be in a month and how you will feel so much better. In this way you are building up trust in your power, trust in yourself, remaining focused and so much more.

Most people that begin reading about manifesting are heavily focused on getting one specific thing, which is totally understandable. However, knowing and applying these teachings are a way of life. We have to remember the bigger picture and realise that everything in life is who we are. We have to remember and realize that after we have manifested our desire, we are still a creator. We have to realize that we are always being something and therefore manifesting something. This is why setting goals in being is so effective- because we are focused on ourselves, on how we are as a person.

Let me know in the comments below what kind of goals in being you are setting for yourself!
