Why Time Is An Illusion & How I Have Shifted Timelines

I am sure you have heard this saying a lot- “time is just an illusion”, but what does that really mean? In this article, I will share some of my experiences and success stories that involved a drastic leap in “time”, and how I got to this state where I do not feel or experience time in the majority of my day to day life. Before reading this article, I urge you to go into it with an open mind. I want you to remember that the human mind is very logical, so it might dismiss some of these things and try to find human excuses as for how it could have happened, in rational terms.

I say this because my first step to experiencing drastic reality shifts was to remember to not give into my logical mind. I went into this with an eagerness to push the boundaries and experiment. I was, and still am, very open to new ways of looking at reality and experiencing it. When you go beyond the ordinary way of looking at life, you are allowing yourself to experience things that prove to you that life is very far from ordinary.

If you are in a state of being suspicious and thinking that none of this is real, then you are not allowing yourself to experience the limitless and infinite potential of your True Self. You are more powerful than you think- it’s who you really are. However, I completely understand the uncertainty in the beginning, which is why Neville himself always said, “do not take my word for it, test it for yourself”. If none of it makes sense, good! Even more of a reason to test this out and make it make sense for you. That’s what I did.

Like I have stated in my previous article, the best kind of knowledge is experience. When I first heard about time being an illusion, and I learnt more about revision from Neville, I wanted to know what that meant exactly. I knew that if I didn’t experience it for myself it would be hard to believe that time isn’t real. I also wanted to know what it meant to “live in the present moment” or “everything is happening now”. I even thought to myself that I might be the one exception and I might never experience what any of this means.

Little did I know, I was in for a ride! Although I have been living my life being aware of who I am, and living as a conscious creator for a few years now, I am still amazed every time something “drastic” manifests. I get very excited. A little tip I realized, was to never label anything as a “coincidence” or “it probably means nothing”. Absolutely not! Be appreciative of even the little shifts and be fully aware that YOU manifested a reality shift- big, little, medium, it’s all the same anyway.

Did your car keys disappear only to find it in the exact same spot you swear you already searched five times? Do not label it as “I must not have seen it there”. It was because you shifted into a reality where your car keys suddenly appeared in a spot it wasn’t in 10 minutes ago. Yes, it’s true. You are doing this every single second already. Life is one big flip book that moves in a way that depicts the illusion of linear time, and things moving about. Be accepting of things like this, make it normal for you to experience reality shifts where things appear and disappear, and where time proves to be an illusion.

My Recent Success Story

As I stated earlier, I live my life as a conscious creator. I tackle every day situations from the perspective of being the God of my reality. Of course I have moments where I forget all of it, however it really doesn’t bother me when I do. I even enjoy this human part of me, why judge it? I sometimes forget to write success stories because I view it as a very natural part of my life now. But when amazing things like this story occurs, I know it will give you guys more faith! And I promise to write more success stories too.

In the latest podcast, I spoke about how everything is an illusion and that I never experience time, only when I have appointments or meetings, such as a coaching session with a client. At this point, everything feels like one big jumble. By that I mean that it does not feel like something happened yesterday or 1 year ago, it feels like it is all happening in one moment- the now moment. It isn’t a feeling I can explain, only something that can be felt.

Last year I became aware of my dogs getting older and at first I gave into the illusion that all dogs only live up to a certain point. I became very sad at the idea of my dogs having a short life span. I had just finished celebrating one of my dog’s -Bella- 11th birthday, and my family and I were discussing how quickly she moved into her double digits. Over the course of the next few days, we started talking about how my other dog, Lucy, was also getting older and approaching her double digits, as she would soon be 8 years old. Because I was thinking about it, other people were reflecting it. I had a thought that I would experiment shifting to a reality where they are younger now, so I could have more time to spend with them.

I completely forgot about all of this until a few weeks ago when I was sitting alone in my room and I had a meltdown. Yes, I had a meltdown! I started to remember, again, of my dogs’ age and I forgot for a moment how powerful I am. In the middle of my breakdown, I remembered all of the amazing experiences I have had with freezing time and bringing back items that were lost from years ago. I remembered that time is an illusion and that reality is very malleable. I already knew I could change this if I wanted to, so I snapped myself out of it and made the intention that my dogs had not aged. That they were still very young, and in fact they are going to live way beyond what is normal for their breed.

I remembered one of my favorite quotes from the Bible:

“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.”

John 14:12-14

Fast forward a few weeks later, I was having a casual conversation with my mom and she mentioned how my dog, Lucy, was only 5 years old, so we have a long time to spend with her. I looked at her very confused and startled, remembering the previous conversation we had about their age. I told her that she was wrong, that Lucy was going to be 8 years old soon. We had a back and forth conversation and she denied this strongly. I told her that Lucy had to be 7, and not 5, because we got her 4 years after we had gotten Bella, and Bella was 11. She looked at me startled and said, “No, Bella is 9, you probably forgot how old they were”.

I had forgotten about the intention I made a few weeks ago, so I kept trying to prove her wrong. I brought up the conversation we had about Bella being in her double digits, and how we were just celebrating her 11th birthday. She said she did not recall anything of that nature, and that I was the one who was calculating the dates wrong. I remembered how I had taken a video of Lucy the day we bought her, and that it was still in my phone with the date on it. When I checked I was shocked. Not only did her birth year change, so did my other dog’s birth year! Keep in my mind, I had looked at these exact same photos not too long ago and the years were different. I remembered the intention I had made and it all hit me. I manifested shifting into a parallel reality where my dogs were younger and they were born in different years than the previous reality.

I still remember all of the countless conversations about my dogs being older, and the birthdays we celebrated. The more I started to realize I had manifested a drastic reality shift, the more things started to show up in my 3D world that proved I had indeed manifested a “huge” shift. I plan on shifting into a reality where they are even younger by the way, but this was certainly a great start!

Other Success Stories

I have hundreds of stories where I sped up and slowed down time to my favor. We all do this all of the time. Have you ever noticed that the clock would say an hour passed by, but you swore it’s only been 5 minutes? This isn’t a phenomena that happens by chance. It is an example of time being an illusion and the naturalness of us constantly shifting into realities, like with the car keys example from above. Start practicing with this. You can practice intending that no matter what the clock is saying, you always have more than enough time to get dressed, grab coffee and drive to work and be on time, even if the clock says you are going to be late.

Practice it until you start to see results. The more you practice with things like these, the more you will start to feel the meaning of time being an illusion. Intend to have experiences that prove to you that time is just an illusion. The more you do this, the more you will feel the meaning of “everything is happening now”. I truly feel that in every moment, hence why I am able to live in the moment and go with the flow of things, knowing it’s all unfolding perfectly for me and my desires.

A few months ago, before a coaching session with a client, I decided to take a leap of faith and test this out again. Before every session, I love to go within and meditate and focus on my clients being successful in their manifestations. I also like to do this just because I like to be in silent to keep myself grounded and center. I don’t do this all of the time, just whenever I feel like it.

On this particular day, I was booked up back to back and I really wanted to meditate but did not have enough time- well, according to the clock. You have to be aware that you are projecting out the clock and the time in every given moment. There is nothing out there, there is only a reflection of your assumptions from within. By this moment, I had become aware that whenever I see a certain time on the clock, it was all my doing. It was all because I expected it to say that specific time. For example, when I wake up and the clock says 8:00am, I am aware that I am the one projecting it out to be 8:00am, and not something out there that I am abiding by. Which means I can change it if I want to.

Most times I do not care to change what the clock says because I do not usually feel the effects of it. In others words, I am usually living in the present moment so I do not care what the time says. Like I said before, I only use it for appointments or meeting up with people. So, I really only change the time on the screen of space in front of me if I feel like it will benefit me.

On this particular day, when I really wanted to meditate, I decided to test it. On the clock it said I only have 5 minutes until my next session, but I wanted to meditate for 1 hour. I made the intention that I would meditate for 1 hour and when I open my eyes, only 4 minutes would have passed by, giving me enough time to have my session and do my 1 hour mediation too. In order to make sure I was testing this out concretely, I turned on a 1 hour video of relaxing music. I closed my eyes and meditated to the entire 1 hour video of relaxing music. When I opened my eyes, although the video said 1 hour had passed by, the clock said only 4 minutes had passed by.

I have had items that were thrown in the trash from years ago suddenly appear years later, people’s appearances drastically changing within a day- as if they are a different person, and so much more! I could go on but then the article will be too long. I will outline the process below and what I did to get to this state where this is now my new normal, so you can utilize it in your every day life too.

Manifesting In Timeframes

Like I said in my previous article, practice is persistence. When I first started practicing manifesting in timeframes and shifting into realities where the time was different, I did not see results asap. Nevertheless, I kept practicing and persisting.

My main advice is to leave behind your old way of looking at life and reality. Complaining and wondering where your desires are is coming from a fear based state. If you have trust in this process and in who you are, then there would be no need to complain or wonder. It implies that you do not have your desires yet and that something can mess it up. Act the part of being God, of being pure love, pure awareness. Manifest for others and shift into realities where things are different for your creations. Prove to yourself how powerful you truly are.

I first changed my concept of myself. I imagined myself to be the person who could walk down the street and shift into any reality she wanted to in the moment. I imagined myself snapping my fingers and things just appearing and disappearing, or people instantly acting in accordance to the way I wanted them to, out of love. I imagined myself to be the person who fully has embraced and accepted her True Self and who knows nothing is ever an issue for her.

You can follow my process from this article , for some examples of questions I asked myself to change my self concept. I made sure to embody this person throughout the day, taking it moment to moment. Be patient with yourself and do not worry if you are wavering or having off moments. Who is judging? Only you.

When you want to manifest something in timeframes, intend for it and if it doesn’t happen, revise that it did and know it really does not matter because there is no time. I find that people get upset when they do not manifest in time frames and they take it way too seriously. This is just further implying that you believe time is real or running out. This really is just to have fun in this game of life and to practice the malleability of things.

Nowadays, I do not care to manifest in timeframes or deadlines because I know they do not exist. I know it is just another concept I created, so I try to live more in the present moment. The more you live in the present moment, the more you do not feel time. And when you do not feel time, the need for deadlines dissolve, which in turn does manifest the desire more effortless and “quicker”, in my experience. When you care too much about deadlines and timeframes, you are abiding by the rule of time and making it important to you.

Your desires are a done deal, and when you fully trust in your desires being a promise, time becomes irrelevant. You’ll be more able to live in the present moment, going with the flow and enjoying the unfolding, knowing your desires are here and are not going to run away from you.

To sum this up, work on remembering who you really are and changing your self concept. I outline this more in the previous article. Drop all of the old concepts and beliefs you had regarding reality that does not serve you any longer. Practice shifting realities by intending for experiences to prove to you that time is an illusion and keep practicing and persisting. Do not make this a chore, have fun with it!

The simple intention of “I intend for reality to prove to me that it is malleable and that time is an illusion”, is more than enough. You can start to practice it with items you have lost to show up randomly, or whatever feels right to you. There is truly no right or wrong way to do this.

Remember, if you are now embodying the person who knows time works in her favor, you aren’t consistently complaining about it. Because then that is implying that time is against you and that you need to worry about it. I am sure there is more I can write on this topic, but for now I will leave it here. I look forward to reading your guys’ success stories!

I loved it, I literally cried because one week ago I was thinking about my dogs eating older. I’m going to test it out!
I’ve got one question, and I’m trully sorry if you have answered this before: when you say live the present moment, is it the present moment in the 3d or our real world (our imagination)?

    Thank you so much!

    Dear Jennifer,

the past couple of days I was very anxious, to the point where I‘ve forgotten about my True Self. Thank you again for being the manifestation who reminded me about it and that there is absolutely nothing to fear.

Hi. My question is how did the current situation in the world get created and how do I uncreate it ? I feel so hopeless looking at the facts. How do I switch to an alternate reality? Also is desire the word of God ?

      Hey Eden,

actually, you are God or you can also say that God wants to experience through you. If your desire is to change the current situation then this is also God‘s wish since you are God. The moment you have the wish it is already done, which means you don‘t have to do anything unless you feel inspired to do something. You don’t have to overthink about how the situation was created. There are no facts since everything, even the situation right now is an illusion. So don‘t go about the 3D World but know that your desire is a promise. Do what you think is right to change it and don‘t worry.

Awesome! Thank you for sharing! My husband and I are Tractor trailer drivers, and appointments are always at hand. For some time, I have been Blessed to have come upon Neville. I began to practice this out here on the roads, not yet understanding what ‘ time is an illusion ‘ actually meant, but, decided to chant it , every time my husband get into the “ we gotta here to get this load on time, or, we cannot be late dropping this load, ‘ etc.

I just simply started to ignore him. I would say my chant, ‘ time is an illusion “ and “ on time loads on the go! ‘ . It’s as if time stood still. Traffic accidents, construction, weather, did not keep us from getting to our loads on time! If we were pressed for time, I would simply just state, ‘ time is an illusion ‘ and I kid you not! We just get there.. no time..like to these receivers and shippers , they just accept that we are on time, that’s it! Even though I KNOW, I’ve noticed the time? I just let it go and act as if we are there already. I just couldn’t put it together as to exactly how. Like I know I had all to do with this, but, how ???
Now? I am ready and excited to try this!! Thank you so for sharing!

Hi Jennifer, what an amazing artice as always 🙂
This really blew my mind. Just one question – can I really alter my age also then, like right now i am 34 years old could it be that with this intention i could make myself 30 years old. If yes, what kind of an intention would i have to set ?
    Looking forward to your reply.

    Namaste ??

A couple of months ago, I was at a subway station and almost late to my train. I was running to the westbound stop, but had to stop because the train going east had to pass and I was on that side of the station. While I was running, I saw my train for a split second, out of nowhere, and slowing down to park at the station. It was right there and I lamented having missed it. Then the eastbound train finished passing and the westbound train I had seen was gone. I thought I was going crazy. I then went and waited and my train came a minute later. I saw this train, in detail, a minute before. Pretty amazing!

So, does this mean that when you think somebody is lying to you, that in reality, you have jumped to another parallel where their answer is different from what they may have told you before. Like if their story changed. Are there really any lies told by other’s, but really more or less, you are wavering in your story/belief about a certain thing?

Hello, Susan: in that particular 3D reality, it was simply you projecting out the person lying, even the contents of being said based on previous assumption: that person is not trust worthy, not being honest with you……..remember that everything is just a reflection of your inner world. You projected being lied to and that was what you experienced.

I like to visualize people around me as faceless mannequins, even the ones I know. My imaginations give them life, facial structures, new characters, and personality, that makes it easy for me to start a new and better version of a particular person instead of basing off an old version that I’ve perceived, which, really, does not exist anymore anyways.

So that neighbor who used to slam the door that sounded like gun shots in my ears day in an day out? Gone, he now closes the door behind him as if he was afraid to wake the baby, 90% of the time. I also altered his working hours and will continue to persist in my new assumption until he fully conforms to it.

What’s crazy about the clock thing is, I realize that whenever I haven’t seen the clock in a long time, I can almost perfectly “guess” what time the clock will say., and it will say it.

Also have had an experience with running late. I had missed the first bus to go to work, and the second bus was being held up in traffic. I kept telling myself, “I’ll be on time I’ll be on time.” It was like the second bus had four flat tires as leisurely as it was moving lol. Nevertheless I arrive to clock in at the start of my shit, a minute off the dot. mind you, I MISSED THE FIRST BUS. Which only comes every thirty minutes.

Hi Jennifer, thanks for this post it was very inspirational and motivating to read. As someone who wants to manifest changing my birthplace to my desired new one and manifesting a new biological family too, can I just shift to a reality where I just wake up to all my full desired results instead to save time and effort?

Hey this is a really interesting post. Thank you so much ! One success I had was for my friend he lost his phone on the bus and it had already gone on a new route with people on. He was sure he wouldn’t get it back. I knew he’d get it back I didn’t know how I just knew It would find its way back to him. 2 hours later his mom gets a call and some man picked it up and took it back to his house and he found it. He received his phone back and all is good !

I do not like to view it as shifting into a different reality… I feel like that’s actually your brain trying to be logical because you don’t believe you can actually change things, you think have to go somewhere else where you already have that thing. I’d like to stay in this reality and still be able to make drastic changes

    Hi,
I had a quick question. Can I in theory and in practice go back a year in “time” to live in the “flip book page” 2022? There’s definitely a lot of things I’d do differently a year ago had I been aware of the consequences—to the point where it would affect my current life circumstances drastically.
Alternatively, if I change/revise specific pivotal decisions I made a year ago, would I have memories of both timelines(the timeline i shifted to and the old timeline) or would it be a case of people looking at you funny because your memories don’t align with the reality you’ve shifted to?
