Staying Consistent In Manifesting

Neville’s teachings requires discipline, but how do we practically “apply” it and how do we stay consistent? I will discuss some very practical tips on how to build this consistency.

How To Build Consistency

So how do we build consistency and what actually is consistency?

First of all, building consistency starts by willing/wanting, and deciding to do something different. Neville calls this a burning desire. If we want to change then we will actually put in the dedication to do so. If we want to learn new things, we have to be willing to. Repetition is key to ingraining things into our system. That’s how we create “habits”. Staying consistent is a habit that we can teach ourselves, which is not as hard as we might think. Actually the hardest part, most of the time, is to actually start. But once you get started, it gets easier to keep on going.

How To Stay Consistent

We hear it a lot, “I’ve tried everything! Why is it not working?”.

Well the answer is in fact quite simple. It is not yet ingrained into our system. We do not fully believe in it. But why is it not ingrained into our system? We assumed and/or imagined for a week- this should be it, right?

Yes and no.

Yes, everything can be assumed once and ingrained into our system, it is that feeling of knowing that this is it. The feeling that we are who we wanted to be, that unstoppable force that can create anything. I will discuss more about this in my next article.

No, we’ve been unconsciously creating our whole life and we are still trying to “learn” how to “do” it consciously.

Now, the key to this is repetition and persistence. Even if we are feeling down. If we fall, we have to stand back up and keep going instead of giving up. It is okay to feel down, but just keep going.

Keep going, keep going, keep going.

Yes you got it. Keep going! Nothing can, or will, stop us if we keep persisting. It’s the same when we first tried to walk. Imagine for a second if we gave up after the first fall, we would never have been able to walk. It’s like everything we learn- if we don’t stay consistent in doing so, it is harder to get it into our system. When you want to play an instrument, it is better to spend 10 minutes a day, than 60 minutes one day of the week. Neville’s teachings are no different.

The biggest thing we need to remember is to stop using these teachings just for the need of wanting things. (My precious!) And I know it might sometimes seem tough, to understand that these teachings are to understand who we truly are, but that’s what it is about! It’s about who we want to be and being the creator from within!

How To Practically Do This

Create a daily 5 or 10 minutes schedule to focus on who you want to be. It doesn’t matter which “technique” you do. Whether it be meditation, affirmations, visualization, etc. Just pick something that works for you and if you love variation, you can actually switch it up every week.

A practical visualisation tip:

If, for example, we are imagining an end scene of a wedding but we’re not feeling it, observe the reason why. Are we doing it to get closer to ourselves or just because we want it? Instead, we can imagine the feeling it would give us and how we would be, as a person. That is the end, go to straight to the end, not necessary the wedding. What is the specific reason we want this wedding to happen? The most obvious answer is to feel loved. Imagine a scene wherein you feel loved, try to feel this feeling as much as possible.

Feel it flow through your whole body. We can even add a keyword to it. Let’s say we connect this feeling with the word “amazing”. Every time you feel a little bit down, think back to the word “amazing” and the connected feeling. Once again feel it through your whole body. Felt distracted? Go back to those feelings. Again, again and again. Don’t give up! You are doing fantastic!

Try to see distractions as nothing more then stepping stones that are “trying out” our faith. Sometimes in our lives we are so sure of something, but something happens and doubts creep in. But if we would be told that 1 + 1 = 3, then no doubts would creep in at all. Because we “know” what the answer is. We would hold on to our faith, which never can distract us if we hold on to it. (This is a little example of the feeling of knowing.) If we assume we know then we actually know.

All in all, build a schedule 5-10 minutes a day and stay true to this. Persist, persist, persist.

Hi Marcel! Really loved this article, I actually read it before and just re-read it and understood it from a different perspective, I guess maybe because who I am now is different than the person who first read it! But yes i definitely think persistence and consistency is the key because I truly want to be that powerful manifestor that I already am! Thank you 🙂
