Reader’s Submission: Change Your Story

When you look back on everything that you’ve created in your life- the good, the bad, the easy, the difficulties, they all have one thing in common. Regardless of what has happened, you created them! It’s perhaps bittersweet knowing the powers that you possess. Where was this knowing when you needed/wanted it the most? Yet you would not be the person you are today if you had not lived the life you have.

It is pertinent for you to realize, though, that your past does not define you as a person, because we are bigger than that. We are much more powerful than we ever thought possible. We are merely living out our lives in the form of a human, but our creative power transcends the human aspect of us. You and I are Gods and Goddesses here, we possess the power some people could only dream of, yet, so many of us never take that leap of faith to begin with.

Recently I made a list of everything I created in my life. It was entertaining because everything I ever desired came into fruition. What I had always focused upon, always happened in my life. It was both a blessing and a curse at the same time. I kid you not, through all of those who told me I could not do things, from those telling me I cannot have things, I did not care. I persisted and assumed that what I wanted in life would be mine, and that’s exactly what had happened.

I applied for University in a city 5 hours away from my hometown. I was 27 years of age, working a dead end job that I despised, and I knew I deserved better in life. If I couldn’t invest or bet on myself, then what’s the point? That was the mantra I told myself! Sure, there were those who doubted me. It was that little tiny doubt I had in myself being reflected back to me, but yet, I did it. I graduated last year and I am waiting to take on the next challenge of furthering my degree. The story I created for myself was that I deserved better. I fully believe this. I am not shy of confidence and this was proven to be the case.

When you examine your life and realize that your inner world creates your outer world, it’s a lot to take on board at first. It’s an eye opener. I can already hear some of you asking “but if we create it, then why did I make it so hard for myself?”. Exactly, I know!

You and I both know it never has to be this way. These rules, these beliefs, they were merely created by others and we adhered to them for whatever reason. Because it felt safe and comfortable to do so. It is always when you are the most uncomfortable that you learn the most from yourself. Or at least that’s what I have found. There is nothing stopping us from taking charge here, absolutely nothing. We can run on our default setting and go by in life on autopilot, or we can stop and actually create what we want to experience and see in life.

Think of yourself as a director of a movie, or an author of a book. Your mind is the canvas, and your thoughts are the paint here. Truly realize just how powerful your imagination actually is, the sky is the limit. Your human self wouldn’t know any better, but the God/Goddess inside of you knows that anything you desire is yours already. So what is it that you desire in your life? When you realize that you have manifested others to behave a certain way, when you realize that you wrote the story of your life so far, it takes the pressure off, it gives you a feeling of ease. If everyone is me pushed out, then essentially the people in your reality are nothing more than your puppets at your fingertips.

How amazing is it to know that you can change anything in your life just like that? Take a moment and truly absorb that. You are that powerful, you can change anything in your life and it’s that simple. Then why is it that people think it’s difficult? Because that’s the story they’ve been telling themselves for years. Do you truly believe you have to work hard to get what you want? No way, why would you work hard, when you can work smart? You could work hard and do a poor job. Yes, you may have worked hard, but if you did a poor job, then working hard means nothing and that’s the whole point here. Every desire that pops into your thoughts is your God-self wanting to experience it. So if it’s an SP that you want back, then you are meant to experience that, If it’s a job you want, then you are meant to experience that.

The reason why people think they cannot have it, is because of this internal story you tell yourselves. I know I’ve been guilty of it in the past as well, so I fully understand here. Does that story serve you well? Ask yourself that and I guarantee you’ll know the answer. Discard anything that does not make you feel good or brings you down in any way.

I see it daily as well, where people are wondering about the techniques or why they feel a certain way. The beauty here is, it doesn’t matter what techniques you use. There are no shortcuts or cheat codes to make you manifest what you want, rapidly. You have to put the work in to see the results. Otherwise, we’d all instantly be millionaires, with our SP’s, and live in golden mansions (okay that part was me being facetious, but you get the point).

If you are the God/Goddess of your reality and you create the rules here, then guess what, EVERY technique/tool you use works for you. Why? Because you are a God/Goddess, so of course it’s going to work for the most powerful being in the Universe.

You can read all day, I’ve been there, but actually test this out, take the leap of faith and see what you want to see. Experience what you want to experience. Knowledge may be power, but power is nothing without application. You could be the most book smart person in the world, but if you don’t apply what you learn, then you’ll never realize the power you possess. It’s why when you look on forums, or you read articles on how to specifically manifest, there is no consistency with them. Because whatever technique that person believed would work for them, is what actually worked for them. That’s the irony about all of this!

For me personally, I constantly talk to myself internally all day, I write things down, I do affirmations. I always thought I was broken by the amount of times that I am aware I am talking to myself internally during the day, but when I do, I constantly feed my head with positivity and self-love. Sure, there are times when I feel a certain way, but it’s only a feeling, it means nothing unless you attach meaning to it. If I have a negative thought now, I just say no and change it to what I want. If I have a negative thought about my SP- nope, it serves me no purpose and I change it to “I am loved unconditionally by my SP”, you get the drift here.

The more you feed yourself this new story and positivity, the easier it gets. It doesn’t matter right now if you view yourself as negative. That story has to change: “You are a positive person, you find mental diets easy for you, everything in your life is effortless and easy for you, you are a master at manifesting, I always get what I want”. The more times you say these things to yourself, the more you believe it. You are literally re-writing the story of your life by introducing new rules, new beliefs, and new concepts that your brain isn’t used to. You are eradicating previous thought patterns and behaviors. I know there will be those out there saying things like “but my situation is different, my SP hates me”. This is your stumbling block already, because this is the story you have created about your SP.

Why would you think that anyone hates you or that you are not good enough in the first place? You are a God/Goddess, you already have everything that you want, you are already loved, you are already confident, you are beautiful, you are more than good enough. Put yourself on that pedestal and imagine others bowing before you as you deserve all of this. Every situation is salvageable in life. The key is persistence and assumption with the new story. Take a look at what persistence is defined as:

Persistence: the fact of continuing in an opinion or course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition.

Now take a look at assumption.

Assumption:  a thing that is accepted as true or as certain to happen, without proof.

How many of us get dejected when someone tells us we cannot do something or we aren’t good enough? Why are you letting someone throw you off center when you are a God/Goddess?

Every desire you have in life is already yours because you have said so. Genuinely, it is that simple. Your SP might be an ex, but do not see them as an ex. See them as your partner again, think from the end, live in the end via persistence and assumption. Assume they love you and crave you every single day. Persist with those thoughts that you and your SP are happily married. I see so many people saying they want a text message from their SP. But why settle for a text message? A text means nothing, but a relationship or marriage, however, is what your real end goal is here. But for whatever reason you want external validation to know that this is working.

This is working every minute of the day. I chose to give up reacting to the world I see with my own eyes, because it’s my previous thoughts/beliefs and they do not serve me. If you knew you were a God/Goddess and you write your own story, then why would you react to things when you know you already have that which you desired? Your imagination is where all the magic happens. Get lost in your imagination, not the 3D world which you perceive as more real.

There are so many tools/techniques that are there to help you. They all work, whether you believe that or not. Take charge of your life and realize that what you have been telling yourself since you were a child, is what is being projected in front of you. Make this as easy and as simple as possible for yourself, because it truly is. And I guarantee that you will see in your 3D world, that which you have been seeing, for days, months, and weeks before in your imagination.

The question I have to pose to you is simple, what’s your new story going to be about?

Thanks for writing this! It really was a great point. There were actually many times in the article you made very poignant points and that normally happens once or twice for a writer, if at all.

I love how you reminded people that all techniques work because they are God! I LOVE the Neville community and teachings as i think they are the only ones that truly teach the mechanisms of reality. But, I see people scolding one another sometimes for writing affirmations or doing this or that technique. Who cares! : D If a person has not fully integrated that concept that they are God (which takes a bit of practice lol) all those techniques help them get there! Anything that helps them get into a state they desire is great. Whether its a vision board, writing affirmations, eating cake. As long as you are moving towards your desired state and through that, the understanding you are God, it’s perfect. No judgment.

Anyway, you made a lot of other good points I was very grateful for but just wanted to touch on one. Thank you for taking the time to do this <3

Thank you so much for your kind words Winter, it means a lot to me. What makes it funny, is that I intended to write an article for the site and Jennifer asked me after I intended it (again proving this works 100%), we had a joke about it the other day as well. Simply due to us all being a God or Goddess of our reality means that nothing can go wrong and that’s what the girls put across so well, a lot of people worry about the why/how and try to micromanage but just simply having faith and sticking with your persistent assumptions about people/situations will see you through. Just because we can’t see anything physically with our own eyes, doesn’t mean nothing is happening and that’s the whole point, since our outer world is dead anyway. Glad you found it useful, I wanted it to hit home with some people (including myself) so I’m grateful you enjoyed it.

So is that mean i keep assuming he loves me though he hasn’t say anything about it?

Yes – that’s exactly what to think if that’s what you want. Just because he hasn’t said it in the 3D world means nothing, remember that your inner world creates your outer world. Just persist with that assumption that he loves you.

    Hi, Matthew!

I loved your article, I’ve read it twice so far 🙂

Do you have any tips on how to realize we are God of our reality? I’ve always seen God as someone greater than me.

Did you repeat to yourself: I am God?

    Thanks!!

      Hi Sheila,

Really appreciate the comments, means a lot and I’m grateful 🙂

Essentially, the way I realised, was just taking the leap of faith. If our thoughts create and our imagination etc is god, then what do we have to lose? If I know everyone is me pushed out and I can manifest things, then that means I am god. It’s just about having faith in yourself here and testing this daily to realise. Also, as you said, I am affirmations worked great for me, it just really is what resonates with you “I am god” “I am the creator of my reality” “I am worshipped” “I am powerful”.

Just make sure to test this daily and you’ll see for yourself.

amazing and empowering article! I rediscovered Neville about 2 months ago and just created my own rules and felt a shift!
may I ask what your breakthrough was and what helped you the most to stay persist no matter what 3D is showing you?
and what’s your opinion on taking action? that’s propably the topic that confused me the most, I used to be such an action-taker and did errrrthang in the external/3D. now I’m relaxing a lot and live more in my inner world and keep telling myself “I’m always doing it right, I’m god, there are no issues, problems and mistakes” and “I get everything I want without even lifting the finger”

I used to get triggered by posts/people who say they spent months, even years “trying” and barely moved forward. I revised that and assume(d) “I’m one of these people who manifest everything they want easily and quickly”
