How I Manifested My Dream Body

Before I start my story, I’d like to mention that I am a Muslim and have always believed that Allah (i.e. God) is omnipresent and loves us all. The following is how I manifested becoming the fittest version of myself using Neville’s techniques.

Fitness has always been an integral part of my life. I have been trying to be the best version of me ever since I was a little Amy. I’d always make time for my workouts no matter how many studies/work I had. It is something that I’m very passionate about. I have manifested many wonderful things in my life and I continue to do so on a regular basis. With regards to fitness, my favorite manifestation has been my workout routines and my gym!

With over 7 years in the fitness world, I’ve tried it all. Aerobics, kickboxing, Pilates, bodybuilding, dancing, yoga, etc. I did well in all of them and my reality reflected the desired figure that I had in mind of myself. My desired physique changed over the years and I am now sticking to bodybuilding. However, this post isn’t about what I’m doing. It’s more about how I manifested my workout routine and my favorite gym!

I always wanted a shapely body. Thankfully, my body adjusts very well to whatever workout routine and diet that I do. With aerobics and other cardio centered workouts, all I was able to achieve was a skinny figure. Like I said, desires evolve over a time period. I wanted to be the best version of myself. The version of me that was pictured in my mind also evolved over time. I didn’t know how I’d get there, but with just imagining it, a series of events occurred in my life which led me to my desired body shape that I now have.

I’d always work out at the kickboxing gym near my old office. One day my company paused operations and I got a job elsewhere with no gyms nearby, and only commercial buildings everywhere. I hence had to find a gym near my own house so as to utilize maximum time and avoid wasting time on traveling. There weren’t any good kickboxing gyms around my home, so I settled with a bodybuilding gym that was in my area. I was lost on how to use the equipments there as I’ve never lifted weights at a non CrossFit gym before and I’ve never trained at a body-building gym either. This gym was filled with body builders, so you can imagine how intimidated I felt. I did not know how to use the weights there or how many exercises I could safely do per day.

Then one day, a trainer found me. I was sitting on the gym cycle, wondering if I had paid a year’s worth of membership for nothing, and pondering over how my days would look like at the gym. You see, I loved working out! But I was so accustomed to group workouts and instructors telling me what to do, that I felt lost when it came to working out solely on my own. So I let it go and just cycled away silently when a trainer approached me and offered me a couple of free sessions. I didn’t just want to hire a trainer at the time without knowing how they trained their clients. I was also too shy to ask for a free session to just see his training style.

I accepted his offer and he trained me for three months. After which I decided that I wanted to train with another trainer (let’s refer to him as trainer B) because the current one (let’s call him trainer A) was getting lazy. I didn’t know that he was just me pushed out because I didn’t even know about the Law at the time. Nonetheless, another bridge of events took place where there was a complaint lodged against trainer A by one of the females at the gym. The gym fired him immediately. Although I never had issues of that nature with him. He was very kind and respectful towards me. I then approached trainer B and he was one of the best trainer’s I’ve ever had till date! He reminds me of the military marshals who are very strict and serious about training. That’s the kind of trainer I wanted all my life!

After a few months of training with him, I came across LoA and eventually Neville and the ‘Law’. Deep in my heart I always wanted to train on my own without a trainer, but I didn’t know how I’d create my own workout plans. My trainer wasn’t helpful in assisting me with figuring that out. At the time I thought that if he’d give that away, then I wouldn’t need him and he didn’t want me to become independent that way. That was again me pushed out and he played the role that I assigned him to. I was still learning about Neville’s teachings during this time and I hadn’t fully grasped it yet.

After knowing that everything is me pushed out, I focused solely on the end goal. I wanted to train on my own with all of my workout plans, etc., figured out perfectly well to suit my goals. That same year a new gym opened up a couple of blocks away. This gym was a branch of the same gym that I was going to. But not only was it the biggest branch, it was also the best gym in my entire city! I knew that I had to go and train there! I loved how the gym looked, how they set it all up, the equipments, the area it was located in etc. It was my dream gym!

I inquired if there were any additional fees to work out at that gym. They said that there is a huge fee, which I’d need to pay, but with that, I’d also get access to all the other branches in my city. I didn’t want access to the other branches. I only wanted to go to this one and without paying that extra cash because I was saving up for a lovely trip that year. So I simply imagined working out there for a few days and let it go. I loved my current gym too, and I didn’t mind working out there. One day, they informed me that my current gym’s branch shut down and that members with an ongoing membership could work out at the other branches, without any extra fees, until their membership expires.

I was over the moon! I happily went to work out at the new gym. It was better than what I had imagined. Indeed the best gym in the city! Alhamdulillah. Which also means Thank You God! That same week I made a decision to take an online training course from this really amazing online coach who I’ve been following on Instagram and YouTube for over two years! I got my workouts and diet plans at a highly discounted rate and, I got more than what I had asked for! I now work out confidently at my gym, on my own, without anyone’s help, and I am in the best shape I’ve ever been in my life!

The methods I used are an unwavering, strongly rooted beliefs in God and in my desires. I claimed my desires as mine as they rightfully are! And they presented themselves in the perfect manner and timing into my physical reality. I was detached from the outcome as I trusted the process. You see, I always love being the A student, and when I came across Neville Goddard, I didn’t allow any doubts to enter my mind, ever. I was manifesting everything that I had experienced and my physical reality was a reflection of what I believed to be true. When doubts did enter, I shifted my focus to something else entirely, like my work or watched a couple of my favorite TV shows or new movies. They always helped me get my mind off stuff.

My new current favorite thing to watch is Ellen DeGeneres’ videos on YouTube! She’s such a gem and a beautiful person as well! Scripting, detachment, along with complete and utter faith that my desire is mine, and that they will manifest in the most beautiful ways, are my favorite manifesting ‘techniques’ as you would call it. They work for everything. Different techniques work for different people. You must figure out which ones resonate with you the most and stick with those and continue to experiment with other techniques if you wish. Gratitude is so powerful too! Out of gratitude, I paid my trainer triple his salary because I was really grateful to have him in my life as my coach! I also verbally expressed my gratitude to him every single day.

“Take my message to heart and live by it. Practice the art of prayer daily, and then one day you will find the most effective prayer is: ‘Thank You Father’. You will feel this being within you as your very self. You can speak of it as ‘thou’ yet know it is ‘I’. You will then have a thou/I relationship, and say to yourself: ‘Thank You, Father’. If I want something, I know the desire comes from the Father, because all thought springs from Him. Having given me the urge, I thank Him for fulfilling it. Then I walk by faith, in confidence that he who gave it to me through the medium of desire will clothe it in bodily form for me to encounter in the flesh”.

You must do what makes you feel comfortable and always offer gratitude. Even a silent thank you in your mind will work wonders because mental conversations are important as well. Throughout my training with my new trainer, I didn’t have an exact image of how my body would look by the end of a few weeks, but I had an idea of how I wanted to build my body. My body looked better than what I had imagined! Body building gives you that muscle pump and shapes the body pretty nicely. Women can never grow enormous muscles like men do because we don’t have that much testosterone in our body. Nonetheless, that’s another limiting belief told to us by scientists, doctors, you name it. However, I didn’t want a hugely muscular body either. Just a very toned and shapely one which I eventually manifested and now I’m maintaining it very well. I’m also eating way more than I did before. My attitude towards food in general has improved greatly and I have a very healthy relationship with the food that I consume.

And with that, I tell you, DREAMS always come true. You just have to believe and let go. Let Allah and the universe do their magic for you because we are co-creating with the higher power. Allah resides in everyone and He wants us to have it all! Live boldly, dream bigger. I’d say dream about something that you’ve always wanted but were too afraid of dreaming because you thought it was too big a dream. Remember, the higher power is on our side. Everything’s possible. Just focus on yourself and live in your reality which is our imagination. For that’s the only reality there is! What you now see with your physical senses are just smoke and mirrors. Dream happier and lovelier dreams and you will see it manifest in the ‘physical’ world.

Doubts are simply a lack of faith. Be faithful and loyal to your desires, for they desperately want to manifest in your physical reality! Time is just an illusion, so never factor that into account. As what we believe to be true, manifests. Trust in divine timing, and confidently walk in blind faith as though your desires have manifested perfectly well, because they already have!

With that, I congratulate you on your desires as they are only a preview of what’s in store for you!

Happy Manifesting!
